Biography :
Dr Patrick Stark is a lecturer in the School of Nursing and Midwifery, Queen’s University Belfast. Patrick has been researching the development and implementation of interventions for over a decade, spanning public health, education and healthcare, with particular focus on care of older people in recent years. He is particularly interested in the design and evaluation of professional education programmes and public health interventions which bridge the gap between research and practice. Patrick’s recent research has focussed on improving nursing care for older people, public understanding of dementia and public health education programmes.
