The World Congress on Healthy Aging and Gerontology (WHAG) proudly continues the legacy of the World Conference on Ageing and Gerontology (WCAG) series, an internationally recognized platform dedicated to advancing research, innovation, and collaboration in healthy aging, gerontology, geriatrics, and longevity science. The 2nd World Conference on Ageing and Gerontology (WCAG-2025) was successfully held on July 14–15, 2025, in Rome, Italy, under the theme "Embrace Ageing Gracefully with Holistic Health," bringing together global experts to discuss multidisciplinary approaches to healthy aging, preventive healthcare, geriatric medicine, and age-related research. This was followed by the 3rd World Conference on Ageing and Gerontology (WCAG-2026), held on July 09–10, 2026, in Frankfurt, Germany, with the theme "The Future of Aging: Longevity, Purpose and Dignity," which highlighted advances in geroscience, longevity research, precision medicine, digital health, and healthy aging.
Building upon the success of these previous editions, the conference enters an exciting new chapter as the 4th World Congress on Healthy Aging and Gerontology (WHAG 2027). While introducing a refreshed identity that reflects the growing global focus on healthy aging and longevity science, WHAG continues the same tradition of scientific excellence established by the WCAG series.
