Christina Hebenstreit

Biography :

Christina Hebenstreit is a Junior Researcher and physiotherapist at the Neurological Rehabilitation Centre KABEG Gailtal-Klinik Hermagor, Austria. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Medical Science at the Medical University of Graz. Her scientific expertise lies in neurological rehabilitation, with a strong focus on physiotherapeutic and occupational therapy–based interventions, as well as the development, validation, and evaluation of clinical assessment instruments. Her primary research interests center on arm- and hand rehabilitation following stroke, with the overarching aim of optimizing functional recovery through evidence-based, interdisciplinary rehabilitation strategies.
