Jong-Ki Kim

Biography :

Jong Ki, KIM Professor in Department of Physics, Kocaeli University, Turkey Dr Kim was awarded a PhD in Biophysics from the State University of New York at Buffalo, USA, in 1992 and spent two years at Memorial-Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York, as a Fellow. Prof Jong-Ki Kim has been based at Daegu Catholic University, School of Medicine, Korea, since 1995. Recently, he relocated to Kocaeli University, Turkey, in 2025. Current research subjects of his laboratory are nanomedicine, including drug delivery using nanostructured materials, and pioneering work on iron-deposition targeting transcranial brain stimulation therapy, including ion beam stimulation and electric field in neurodegenerative diseases. He set up a startup company for treating neurodegenerative diseases as CEO of Neurospear.
