Xiujing Feng

Biography :

Professor /Department of Immunology/Shandong First Medical University Xiujing Feng’s research focuses on the mechanism and the pharmacological intervention of the inflammatory disesea including the chronic inflammatory disease (non-alcohol fatty liver disease) and the acute inflammatory disease(sepsis related acute lung injury). So far, our work has been published in the journal of Gut Micobes, EbioMedicine, nature communications, which are cited more than 2000 times. Our work found the new modulators of PPARγ and it attenuated obesity associated inflammation and metabolic disorders via regulating macrophage polarization. Recently, our new finding show that the mechanism of macrophage regulating hepatocyte ferroptosis in MASH.
